Members are reminded of the recently published Code of practice: Managing exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace, 2022. Please ensure that all concerned in the workplace are au fait with what is required by employers, employees, workers, and self-employed individuals. The Department of Employment and Labour has identified our industry to conduct inspections to ensure that workplaces comply with South African Labour legislation as well as COVID-19 regulations. More about the inspection list and compliance requirements will be shared with members in due course.
