Thembi is a qualified Human Resources Professional with eight years of solid work experience across all aspects of the organisational life cycle. She has demonstrated expertise in building and effectively managing professional relationships at all levels within various industries, including Technology, Agriculture (Farms & Sawmills), Manufacturing, Medical, Transport, Retail and now Hairdressing, Cosmetology, and Beauty.
Throughout her career, Thembi has developed and applied numerous strategies and initiatives aligned with diverse business objectives. This has resulted in her gaining in-depth experience in HR Data Management, Recruitment (Onboarding), HR Business Transformation & Adoption, Employee Exits (Off-Boarding), Workforce Administration, Employee Wellness, Employee Rewards & Remuneration, HR Reporting, Resourcing, Training & Development, Labour Relations & Industrial Relations Issues, ensuring adherence to HR Policies and Procedures, Bargaining Councils (Trade Unions within the workplace), Wage Negotiations, and Job Evaluation & Job Grading Systems.
Moreover, she possesses three years of solid work experience in Business Development, having worked as a Business Development Administrator. She believes that the intersection between HR and Business Development makes her a valuable asset to EOHCB and its members.
